What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Track and Field Coach position at Josiah Bartlett Elementary School?
POSITION: Middle School Track and Field Coach
REPORTS TO: Josiah Bartlett Elementary Athletic Director
SEASON: Early April to End of May
SCHEUDLE: All practices and track meets will Monday-Friday
SKILLS REQUIRED: Previous Track & Field coaching experience at the Middle School level preferred. Coach will be responsible for team activities including all scheduled practices and meets, adhere to district polices, rules and objectives. Coach will lead by example among the team and participants. Focus will be on personal development, skill development, safety, fair play, sportsmanship and work to establish and improve team and program.
Candidates should be dependable, detail oriented, willing and able to both lead and delegate within a coaching staff atmosphere, meet or be willing to complete all Bartlett School District and NHIAA requirements, ability to travel with the team to and from home and away meets. CPR/First Aide certification required but will to train if needed.
