WELDER β Performs duties associated with all areas of welding parts for production.
INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Welding Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Welding Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:
- Pull and weld parts to print or specifications.
- Label products correctly.
- Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.
- Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned, and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MIG welding experience, semi-automatic MIG welding a plus.
- One-year on the job experience or welding classes/certificate desired.
- Pass JOST Welder Qualification Test
- Ability to work and communicate accurately and factual as an effective team member with fellow employees, leadmen and supervision.
- Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.
- Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time
- While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
