Join our IT Team!! Jostens is looking for a talented Graphic Systems Engineer to join our specialized IT department in Clarksville, TN!
As our Sr. Graphic Systems expert, you will be performing system integration functions with responsibility for testing, programming, implementing, and supporting the technical environment for publishing systems running on Mac, UNIX, and Windows servers, NAS storage, network infrastructure, and other manufacturing systems. Incumbents collaborate with partners in Information Technology to ensure standards and best practices are implemented and maintained across the Printing and Publishing facilities. Incumbents must be knowledgeable about the business processes and workflow of the company’s manufacturing plants and serve as level two support for manufacturing systems administrators. This role is responsible for providing technical support on all aspects of production critical systems.
Qualifications : Required :
- BS degree in Computer Science, Printing, Digital Imaging, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or applicable technology; or a minimum of an undergraduate degree or equivalent related experience in a technology-related field.
- 2-3 years’ experience in Server Administration, storage solutions, programming, or Prinergy Systems.
- Project management experience on successful technology implementations.
- Knowledge of concepts of local area and wide area networks and familiarity with network topologies and wiring systems.
- Must be adaptive to technical change and be able and willing to acquire skills required to accomplish highly technical tasks.
- Position requires that the employee wear a cell phone and be on call 24 / 7.
- Must be able to travel to achieve pre-set objectives (up to 10% per year).
