What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate Event Planner position at Jostens?
Job Title: Event Coordinator
- Event website design and registration development using the CVENT software.

Partnering with marketing to manage trade shows and conventions.(college, champ, and yearbook conventions)
- Develop and manage vendor relationships for event deliverables and services.
- Development and maintenance of event apps using CVENT.
- Customer service support for both internal and customer-facing events.
- Planning and execution of virtual webinars.
- Maintain event budget and reconcile expenses.
- Manages onsite registration technology.
- Other projects as assigned.
Required:
- A bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required
- Strong Customer Service Experience
- Interest in corporate meeting/convention planning
- Required proficiency in computer applications and database management including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Action-oriented and a self-starter
- Effective time management and organization of multiple ongoing projects
- Team player with a focus on serving the customer
- Strong interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Adobe Photoshop / InDesign proficiency preferred
- Web and email design experience preferred
- Experience with independent sales reps preferred.
- Desire to grow in the event management field.
- Strong ability to self-set priorities
- CVENT experience required
- Previous experience in event management
