Jostens has a great opportunity for a best in class Desktop Publishing Supervisor!
Our Desktop Publishing Supervisor is responsible for directing and coordinating assigned Copy Prep (Desktop Publishing) and Imposition departmental operations within the plant. Responsibilities include meeting objectives for quality, quantity, cost and delivery. Incumbents control the area's schedule, quality control, and allocation of materials, workforce, and equipment. The Desktop Publishing Supervisor sets area production and performance goals, organizes work, trains employees, and maintains a productive and engaged team.
The incumbent will work closely with department manager to assist in the overall achievement of operational goals in safety, quality, cost, delivery, organization and positive work environment.
This position will support and partner with continuous improvement and manufacturing engineers to drive process improvement and safety goals, as needed for the department. Additionally, this position may be asked to support other areas or departments as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications : Required :
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, or similar, and / or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as Supervisor.
- Management / Supervisory experience in a team-based environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and inspire team members.
- Excellent MS Office experience, in particular Excel Skills & Microsoft Teams.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
