Job Title : Distribution Management Expert Type : 2-Year Contract Location : Ridgefield, CT Schedule : Hybrid Start Date : March 2025 Overview : Joule has an opportunity for a Distribution Management (DM) Expert that will oversee the worldwide distribution of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP) for clinical studies across all phases based in the Ridgefield, CT area. This role involves independently developing, planning, and optimizing distribution strategies while managing external service providers. This position requires a strong background in clinical trials, pharmaceuticals, or regulated environments, as well as project management skills. Responsibilities : Handle distribution of IMP for clinical phases, develop and manage global distribution strategies for IMP. Negotiate, define, control, and monitor schedules and activities with external distribution partners. Ensure IMPs are delivered to clinical sites on time and without critical deviations. Oversee return of unused medicine from study sites. Participate in the design of IRT (Interactive Response Technology) systems. Maintain IT / IRT systems to ensure smooth operations and patient care. Requirements : Strong background in sciences, health science, nursing, or pharmaceuticals. Experience in clinical trials or regulated environments and demanding global environment. Project management skills (timelines, compliance, documentation, deliverables). Familiarity with logistics and distribution but with a focus on clinical trials. Experience in managing external distribution partners and vendors. Proficiency in IT / IRT systems for distribution management.
