Overview
Explore an exciting opportunity as a Maintenance Technician for a medical device company. This challenging and rewarding role involves executing complex tests, inspecting materials with precision, and collaborating with engineers on fixture design and development.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on simple/manual; semi automated; and certain aspects of fully automated manufacturing equipment.
- Corrective maintenance activities include: troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems; and minor equipment performance improvement activities
- Support equipment performance improvement projects and process validation activities.
- Contribute to process optimization and scrap reduction efforts through equipment design improvements, improvements to operating and maintenance procedures, and maintenance activities.
- Independently troubleshoot equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability.
- Implement permanent corrective actions to eliminate recurrent problems.
- High-School Diploma and relevant experience or Technical degree
- 2-5 years of troubleshooting experience with Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Controls Logic, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), Ethernet communication, DeviceNet, Networks
- Experience with root cause analysis
- Experience supporting production and maintenance of medical devices a plus
