Job Title: Packaging Engineer Project Manager
Location: Millsboro, DE
Hours/Schedule: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm

Responsibilities
The Associate Project Manager assumes responsibility for the complete life cycle of packaging solutions, including development, validation, and implementation, with a specific focus on the Millsboro manufacturing site. This encompasses projects involving new packaging, issue resolution, and enhancement initiatives. You steer projects to successful completion, evaluating the implications of implementing packaging solution standards. You provide oversight for ongoing implementation and standardization projects and instigate new initiatives aligned with the packaging strategy. Additionally, you play a vital role in participating as a subject matter expert in capex projects. Close collaboration is essential, involving coordination with R&D Product Development, Global Engineering Services, Global Supplier Management, site filling and packaging departments, as well as external suppliers of packaging materials and equipment.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or similar technical field; Mechanical Engineering, Packaging Science, Packaging Engineering, Chemistry or similar
- 3 years combined packaging and/or pharmaceutical/medical device manufacturing experience (1 years of the experience should be within packaging support/ project management)
- Interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Experience and knowledge of the pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience in packaging equipment
- Experience with primary and secondary packaging.
- Proven project leadership/ management and complex problem-solving skills.
- Ability to determine areas of potential risk to business success and generate gap analysis.
- Good interpersonal skills including flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
