Longford County Council is inviting applications for the Film Mentorship Award 2025, supporting the professional development of emerging filmmakers through a structured ten-month mentorship with Harp Media. Mentees will gain experience in areas such as film funding, grant writing, production planning, script feedback, and preproduction, alongside one-to-one feedback sessions.
The mentee will receive a €500 grant towards expenses, while the mentor will be awarded €3,000 for programme costs. Applicants from any arts discipline or background are eligible.
Applications will be assessed by an adjudication panel, with outcomes communicated in mid-January 2025. The deadline for submissions is 5pm on 20 December 2024. For feedback, email scrossan@longfordcoco.ie within 20 days of receiving results.
