The Community Banking Associate performs a variety of duties to support the paying and receiving functions of the community branch, coordinating work within the department, reporting pertinent information to immediate supervisor and responding to inquiries or requests for information.

Essential Responsibilities
- Greet and serve customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Accept deposits, cash checks and process utility bill payments.
- Sell treasurer checks, money orders, and other bank products.
- Accept loan payments, safe deposit box rent and other related payments.
- Process night deposits and mail deposits.
- Maintains awareness of new business opportunities with customers, actively refers customers to appropriate customer service personnel.
- Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness, and the Bank's compliance with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) and Equal Credit Opportunity Act, etc.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; specialized banking education or training.
- Previous banking or other customer service experience preferred.
- Moderate reading, writing and grammar skills, as well as analytical and math skills.
- Proficient communicative and interpersonal skills, must be professional and courteous.
- Proficient eye-hand coordination.
- Ability to operate various office machines.
- Ability to lift approximately 50lbs.
- Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
