We are seeking a part-time Loan Processor / Closer to join our team and work on-site at our Operations Center in Bloomsburg, PA. As part of the Loan Processing Department, this position reports to the AVP, Loan Processing Manager.
Essential Responsibilities :
- Stays current with all loan products and the documents specific to the products.
- Verifies all loans have the proper approvals and meet bank policy guidelines.
- Works closely with Originators and Underwriters in all aspects of the loan process.
- Works closely with attorneys, title agents, and abstract companies to prepare closing documents and schedule closings.
- Order, process and review appraisals.
- Prepares memos, forms, tables, and reports using Word, Excel, and specialized departmental software as appropriate.
- Prepares mortgage files to go to underwriting.
- Assembles files and sends to PHFA; follows up on any missing documentation with PHFA.
- Contacts loan customers and insurance companies to request information.
- Prepares loan documents, reviews documents for accuracy, and onboards loans
- Provides information and assists in the preparation of various loan reports, HMDA reporting, etc.
- Verifies completion of all loans being closed.
- Reviews and updates secondary market automated underwriting reports.
Requirements : The selected candidate must have the following skills :
Hours : Monday-Friday, 25-29 hours per week, flexible to work additional hours as needed.
