Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties and an understanding of effective cleaning techniques.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
• Conduct commercial cleaning of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas to ensure hygiene standards are met.
• Maintain and care for facilities by performing minor repairs and upkeep as needed.
• Execute floor care tasks such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
• Assist in industrial cleaning projects, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts efficiently.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise.

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred.
• Knowledge of residential painting techniques is a plus.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is advantageous.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, lifting, and moving throughout the day.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• A positive attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
