Contract Title: Contract Childcare Worker

Reports To: Kids Coordinator | Special Events Childcare
Job Purpose:
The purpose of this position with Journey Church is to create a fun, safe environment for children during special events held on our campuses. This is a contracted position. Work hours are dependent on events scheduled sporadically throughout the year. The age requirement for this position is 16 years old.
Event Examples:
- Marriage Mondays | Mondays during the summer
- Re-Engage | Monday evenings year round
- Encounter Nights | First Wednesday of every month
- Freedom Conference | A 2-day conference twice a year
- Marriage Conference | A 2-day conference once a year
- Thrive Conference | A 2-day conference once a year
- Living Room Sessions | January
Key Responsibilities:
- To execute the childcare programming provided by the Childcare Coordinator
- To follow all Journey Kids guidelines while working childcare events
- To lead the kids in your classroom to know Jesus in your actions, speech and behavior
- To work together with the rest of the team to ensure that kids are safe and taken well care of
Qualifications / Experience:
- Good communicator and interpersonal skills
- Servant Leader with a love for people
- Team Player while still being able to work well independently
- Organized; flexible; able to Multitask
- Passionate about children and families
