Purpose:
To help lead the campus in excellence, while cultivating a strong culture of discipleship and connection through groups, events, and pastoral support—ensuring every person at the campus has a place to grow, belong, and be cared for.
Key Responsibilities:
Groups Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership, coaching, and regular communication to Group Leaders, Coaches, and Lane Leaders to ensure alignment, growth, and pastoral care within groups.
- Manage day-to-day group operations, including semester launches, connect card follow-ups, leader onboarding, and integration processes.
- Plan and execute Groups events and trainings, including pre-event setup, logistics, and leader development.
- Collaborate with the Central Groups Team to maintain resources, monitor reporting metrics, and manage campus group budgets.
- Actively build relationships through regular meetings with leaders, participate in a group each semester, and support church-wide ministry events.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Associate Campus Pastor Responsibilities:
Administration:
- Coordinate regularly with all ministry leaders
- Keep running lists of needs, upgrades, and goals for the campus
- Assist the Campus Pastor weekly with Connection Card info; to include prayer requests, meeting requests, and information requests
- Lead WPB Serve Staff Meetings as requested
Meeting Schedule:
- Weekly meeting of Associate Campus Pastor with Campus Pastor
- Weekly Get Better Meeting with all staff
- Weekly meeting with serve team at assigned campus
- Monthly All-Staff meeting
- Any other meeting as scheduled
Pastoral Care:
- Oversees the coordination and facilitation of Pastoral Care appointments to include counseling, marital/pre-marital counseling, weddings, and funerals
- Weekly lunch/coffee/on-campus appointments with campus leadership; to include small group leaders, small group coaches, Dream Team, potential leaders
- Oversee hospital visitation, and other Pastoral needs within the assigned campus.
- Oversee Baptism processes for assigned campus
- Oversee the Salvation and Redirection processes for assigned campus
- Respond to all inquiries regarding Theology and Doctrine
Facilities:
- Assist the Campus Pastor in preparing the facility throughout the week for upcoming services, groups, events, etc.
- Assist Campus Pastor in maintaining excellence inside and outside of the campus
- Assist in the opening/closing of the facility for small groups, and other on-campus meetings & activities
- Assign Sunday Campus Closing Rotation ensuring policy and procedures are adhered to
Sunday Responsibilities:
- Assist with campus setup, service facilitation, and closing for all Sunday services and events.
- Support the Campus Pastor, Connections Coordinator, and staff to ensure smooth operations and guest experience.
- Create a welcoming environment by engaging guests, leading volunteer huddles, and facilitating assimilation classes as needed.
- Oversee Sunday prayer/devotional schedules and participate in the “last man standing” rotation for campus security.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be prepared to confidently communicate in small group environments
- Assist with planning, staffing, and implementing all special events at campus
- Consistent goal setting for all areas of campus growth
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications | Experience:
- Team player
- Passion for seeing lives transformed through community
- High capacity extrovert who is committed to investing in lay leaders
- Ability to multi-task in a high paced ministry environment
- Attention to detail
- Degree in Biblical Studies is helpful
- Experience working in Ministry is preferred but not required
- Minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- Experience serving/leading in a church setting
- Experience mentoring or leading others to Christ

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- The Associate Campus Pastor is responsible in assisting the Campus Pastor of with supervision of the staff assigned to the campus being overseen.
- This position is responsible for the supervision of the Groups Dream Team members, to include Group Leaders, Group Coaches and d Group Lane Leads
