Job Purpose:

The Women's and Marriage Ministry Coordinator is responsible for the development, coordination, and implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at empowering and nurturing the spiritual, emotional, and relational well-being of women and couples within our church community. This position requires a passion for ministry, a heart for women and families, and strong organizational and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Ministry Program Development

• Collaborate with church leadership to define the vision, goals, and objectives of the Women's and Marriage Ministry.
• Design and develop relevant groups, conferences, events, and resources that address the unique needs of women and couples in our congregation.

Leadership and Volunteer 

• Recruit, train, and coach a team of dedicated volunteers to assist in the execution of ministry activities.
• Provide ongoing support and encouragement to volunteers, ensuring they are equipped to fulfill their roles effectively.

Care and Resourcing

• Create a network and team that can assist in compassionate pastoral care and counseling to women and couples facing challenges in their personal lives and marriages.

• Create a database of helpful resources for women and married couples in crisis.
• Facilitate groups and one-on-one sessions as needed.

Curriculum Development

• Create and curate relevant teaching materials, resources, and curriculum for women's and marriage groups.

Administrative Tasks

• Manage the budget allocated to the Women's and Marriage Ministry, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources.
• Maintain accurate records of ministry activities, attendance, and participant feedback.

Sunday Responsibilities:

• Arrive early to ensure set up for ministry areas at the campus. 
• Fulfil campus responsibilities assigned by the Campus Pastor.
• Lead Dream Team Huddles as requested by the Campus Pastor.  

Qualifications / Experience:

• Strong personal commitment to Jesus and a living and active faith. A spirit-filled lifestyle that is led by the Holy Spirit as well as a deep understanding of biblical principles related to marriage and family life.
• Bachelor's degree in ministry, counseling, theology, or a related field (preferred).
• 3-5 yrs of experience in ministry leadership, particularly in women's or marriage ministry, is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to a diverse range of individuals and build strong relationships.
• Proficient in organizational and administrative tasks, including budget management and record keeping.

• Must attend Journey Church

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• This position is responsible for the supervision of the Journey Groups Dream Team members, to include Group Leaders, Group Coaches and Group Lane Leads.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
