What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Teacher position at Journey Church?
This full-time Preschool Teacher position follows a Monday?Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is a 12-month role. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude and the flexibility to adapt to varying daily responsibilities. This may include providing breaks for other staff, working in a preschool classroom or in our afterschool program or summer camp as needed.
All Preschool Teachers at Christian Life School are required to have a minimum of a high school diploma, be willing to complete required early childhood education courses within the first year of employment, and have personal and professional references. All Christian Life School employees are required to be Christians who believe Jesus Christ is their personal Lord and Savior, live their life as a Christian role model, and be active in their Christian faith.
We prefer Preschool Teachers who have prior experience with working with young children, but we are willing to train the right candidate. We are looking for teachers who are positive, team players, creative, and absolutely love working with young children, as well as elementary age children.
