GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Reporting directly to the Facilities Manager this position is responsible for the maintenance of program and/or office facilities. Must be physically capable of accomplishing maintenance, repair and construction projects, including lifting objects weighing up to 100 pounds, carrying objects weighing 75 pounds, pushing and pulling objects weighing up to 150 pounds. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive a small truck or van. Must have a basic understanding of basic home repair and maintenance plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems and be able to identify problems and take appropriate action to remedy or communicate them.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the safety, function and appearance of residential properties, through repairs, maintenance and communication. The ability to work independently is necessary. Candidates should be proficient in at least one of the following skill sets: carpentry, remodeling and renovation, plumbing, electrical, hvac, grounds maintenance, with some familiarity of all. Complete tasks efficiently with attention to detail to obtain high quality results. Communication must be proactive, timely, such as while on site and responsive (within 30 minutes). Is willing to learn new skills as needed to complete common tasks and have an expected presence in the homes. Will be utilizing an online work order program, online time/pay program and email. Completes tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Facilities Manager, as well as other senior managers. Tools and transportation for the workday are provided by Journey Found. The technician will assist in the care and maintenance of these items.

Maintains the security of electronic media and returns to his/her supervisor when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Maintenance and trades experience
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Background Check
- Must have been driving for 3 years WITH a valid license
- Must be eligible to be work in the United States.
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The ability to move independently throughout a wide range of environments, some of which may not be wheelchair or otherwise handicapped accessible, is required. Independent transportation to Manchester that may not be served by public transportation is necessary.
