What Would You Do AS A SeNIOR eSTIMATOR?
As a Senior Estimator at Journey Construction, you will be at the forefront of initiating and completing tasks crucial to estimating successful and complex commercial construction projects. Leading a team of estimators, you will provide guidance and training to ensure high-quality work on various project stages. Are You A Good Fit For This Senior Estimator Role?
To excel as a Senior Estimator at Journey Construction, candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in construction management or construction engineering, along with a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in construction cost estimating or project management. Proficiency in software tools such as Sage Timberline, Digital Takeoff (Planswift), Bluebeam/PDF, Google Earth, Revit, and Sketchup is preferred. Essential skills include strong leadership, construction cost expertise, analytical and negotiation skills, and effective communication abilities.
Successful candidates will demonstrate problem-solving capabilities, maintain a value-added approach to estimating, and prioritize tasks efficiently to meet deadlines.
