What You'll Do
At Journey Health, our receptionist plays a pivotal role as the welcoming face and voice of our organization. As a receptionist, you will provide a warm and professional greeting to all callers, ensuring their needs are directed appropriately. You'll also assist in various administrative tasks and manage correspondence. Your contribution to creating a positive and efficient atmosphere is crucial in supporting our mission to provide accessible and compassionate healthcare to our members.
Responsibilities
- Greeting and Welcoming: Warmly welcome and assist visitors, clients, and employees as they enter the office.
- Answering Phones: Professionally handle incoming phone calls, transferring calls to the appropriate personnel, and taking messages when necessary.
- Email and Correspondence: Monitor and respond to emails, inquiries, and general correspondence in a timely and professional manner.
- Administrative Support: Assist with various administrative tasks.
- Problem Solving: Address and resolve patient and employee inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
- Multitasking: Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities based on urgency.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Embrace organizational changes in a dynamic, start-up environment while remaining adaptable and proactive.
- Demonstrates experience in providing culturally sensitive communication and delivering high-quality customer service to diverse communities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in using virtual office equipment, including phone systems and computers.
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure and handle challenging situations with grace.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Reliable and punctual.

Receptionists will be full-time in person.
