What are the responsibilities and job description for the Phlebotomy Instructor position at Journey Medical Training Center?
Instructor will lecture via Zoom 3 hours in the evenings 6pm-9pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Topics include anatomy and physiology, cardiovascular, venipuncture, non-blood specimen collections, legal and ethics, and professional behavior.
Instructor will have the option to teach 3-6 additional hours per week of skills lab on campus and/or at partnering facility as needed.
Classes are 12 weeks. There is a one week break in between nee class start date.
Instructor may choose to lecture only, teach skills only, or do both.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 6 – 12 per week
