Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CNA certification preferred, but not required.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and conducting activities to support residents' overall well-being.
- Facilitate resident participation by coordinating transportation, guiding individuals to events, and providing one-on-one engagement as needed.
- Document attendance, monitor resident involvement, and report any changes in mood or behavior to ensure personalized care.
Additional Responsibilities
- Create and distribute monthly activity calendars in a prominent location and resident rooms.
- Interview residents and families to gather activity preferences.
- Arrange offsite field trips and coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless activity delivery.
- Assist with Resident/Family Council meetings and promote family involvement in planning activities.
