Required Qualifications:
- Current LPN license from the State Board of Nursing.
- Graduate of an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
- Current BLS/CPR certification; experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing preferred.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Patient Care and Medication Administration: Deliver direct nursing care, administer medications, monitor patient responses, and report any concerns to the RN Supervisor or physician.
- Team Supervision and Leadership: Assign tasks, coach, and evaluate Certified Nursing Aides (CNAs), ensuring quality outcomes and adherence to policies.
- Care Planning and Documentation: Participate in care planning, maintain accurate medical records, and ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
