Required Qualifications:
- Certified in the state as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Medication aide certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of health care industry experience or 2 years’ experience as medication aide.
- Current CPR certification.
Major Responsibilities
- Medication Administration: Safely deliver daily oral, inhalation, and topical medications under a nurse's supervision, monitoring adverse reactions and documenting all actions per company policies.
- Resident Observation: Monitor residents for changes in condition and report findings to the nurse while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Supportive Care: Perform related tasks such as vital sign checks, medication dose calculations, and cart restocking, ensuring safe handling and storage of medications.
