We are currently seeking licensed and certified counselors as well as counselor interns to join our team
Fast Growing, Outpatient Substance Abuse Treatment center in Perth Amboy, NJ is hiring part time and full time counselors, LCSWs, LPCs, CADCs, LCADCs and Counselors Interns to provide services to our co-occurring clients (3 levels of care-OP, IOP, PC), Conduct and/or facilitates intakes, individual, group and family therapy sessions, Mental Health evaluation, Mental Health individual and group sessions; Maintain accurate clinical documentation including intake summaries, group and individual progress notes, discharge summaries, treatment plans and updates; Communicate relevant, accurate and adequate information regarding clients’ needs/concerns/issues to supervisor and referral sources; Attend regular clinical supervision meeting to ensure communication between team members and collaboration on case management; Attend and participates in all staff meetings, workshops and trainings; Participate in daily office operations, such as client check-ins and effective communication with referring Agencies to meet the needs of the program, carry a client caseload; Participate in marketing activities.

We are looking for counselors who love what they do, have good work ethics, are willing to help us to expand the program, understand the importance of the paperwork, are cooperative and willing to follow NJ State and DMHAS regulations, know very well NJ SAMS, IME, MAP (Parole) Drug Court, DUII and SAI, Medicaid, DCP&P requirements, can bring new ideas to the facility to improve the operation, willing to cooperate with referral sources and provide reports to them in a timely manner. Being computer literate is a must; having a great sense of humor is a big plus.
Applicants will be required to successfully pass a background check & pre-employment drug screen as well as arrange personal interview with all former and present supervisors/directors.
