Qualifications :
Certified by the state as a nurse aide
List on the state aide registry with a clear record able to deliver care to patients
18 years of age unless state law dictates otherwise
Valid drivers license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state requirements or reliable transportation preferred
HOURS : (3) 12-hour Shifts / Week 7pm-7 : 30am Which Includes Every Other Weekend
LOCATION : Barrington
Salary : $18-$25 Hourly - Offer Based on Years of Experience

What Youll Do :
The Hospice CNA-IPU (Certified Nurse Assistant Inpatient Unit) works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services for a patient as necessary to meet the patients personal comfort needs at the unit.
The CNA is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations, and documenting observations and care performed.
Performing personal care needs after given a patients assignment and attending to his / her requests promptly.
Meeting safety needs of patient and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2 etc.)
Giving personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed lined as often as assigned
Reporting on patients condition and significant changes. Also aware of the caregiver or other individuals visiting with the patient and interpersonal issues
Adhering to the organizations documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct
