Description
We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Warehouse Lead to oversee daily warehouse operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing inventory and barreling execution to meet forecasts, maintaining high standards for cleanliness and quality control, and proactively identifying and addressing risks to ensure a safe and efficient environment for both team members and visitors. Basic Function: Oversee and ensure transport, filling, and organization of barrels.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
- Conduct periodic warehouse inventory
- Accurate barrel tracking.
- Management of logistics
- Accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
- Serialize barrels for inventory tracking purposes within Dx5 inventory software
- Weigh aging barrels and record data results.
- Inform leadership of any disciplinary issues which arise.
- Ensure Barreling QC standards are achieved.
- Ensure Barreling accuracy is achieved
- Maintain QC checklist and standards.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness standards
- Develop and oversee procedures for monitoring quality of incoming barrels.
- Perform routine leak searches and repair leaking barrels
- Adhere to all company policies regarding health and safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Immediately report all safety, environmental, and quality issues to upper management.
- Unload barrel trucks safely and effectively, using required equipment.
- Maintain and upkeep all equipment, IT, and phones.
- Interface and coordinate with onsite contractors.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Higher education a plus.
- 2-3 years experience in Warehouse background preferred.
- Individual must be able to read, write and communicate in English with comprehension.
- Individual must have a sound understanding of math concepts.
- Physical requirements.
- Individual must have the ability to physically perform job functions in all environments inside and outside. Environments may be extremely dusty and loud.
- Perform job functions which may include lifting, bending and crouching while moving 500 lbs barrels for continuous periods of time.
- Individual must be able to lift 60 lbs on a continual basis from the floor to shoulder height.
- CDL or experience driving commercial vehicles or box truck a plus.
- Forklift operation experience (1-2 years minimum).
