The Role

We are in search of passionate sales professionals to drive the adoption of our innovative products within universities and colleges. Ideal candidates are results-driven achievers who excel in a remote working environment and are eager to grow along with JoVE.

Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the entire sales cycle, from prospecting to closing, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for your territory.
  • Present our products effectively, both online and in person, to researchers, faculty, and academic librarians.
  • Engage proactively with clients and users through various communication channels.
  • Analyze market trends to make informed, data-driven decisions that prioritize your activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve sales goals and contribute to team projects and campaigns.
  • Represent JoVE at tradeshows and engage in additional marketing initiatives.

Requirements :

  • A college degree is required.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, ideally in EdTech, STEM publishing, or SaaS.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in both virtual and in-person settings.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other platforms such as Hubspot.
  • Confidence in engaging with clients and end-users about our products.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and open to learning new skills.
  • A strong drive for success and resilience in overcoming challenges.
