Responsibilities
As a Clinical Care Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing individualized plans of care for patients
- Administering medications and performing clinical treatments as prescribed
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, including vital signs and medical history
- Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and improve quality of care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of an Associate's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Current Alabama RN licensure or Compact License that includes AL
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire date
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required after 6 months in ICU
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required after 6 months in ICU
- Critical thinking skills and decisive judgment
