What You Will Be Doing
- Map member journey for different member experiences.
- Create an Excel listing of documents that link them from one system to another.
- Review documents, such as PDFs, for opportunities to improve the member experience.
- Review department level knowledge base procedures for a given area to ensure they are thorough, accurate, and uniform.
- Assist with documenting procedures as needed.
- Collaborate with business users to define processes that meet business needs.
- Assist in creating functional design documents for conversions, interfaces, and reports.
- Must be able to plan and manage time efficiently to remain flexible enough to address immediate or emergency-level staff needs.
- Analyze existing system logic with a view to redesign and/or automate. This includes workflow creation or maintenance in an effort to streamline all operations.
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 1 year of work experience in the financial (or equivalent) industry.
- Excel and other Microsoft Office skills (or Google equivalent) required.
- Adobe familiarity a plus.
- Ability to identify and design process workflows with dependencies between items.
- Ability to analyze the root cause of issues and use problem-solving skills to troubleshoot possible solutions.
- Strong communication skills to work with both the end-users and the Business Process Analysts.
- Must be organized and detail oriented.
- Project Management skills are needed to coordinate projects and meet deadlines.
- Internet speed of 100 mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net).
- Able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions.
- All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset).
- Our Internships are a (10) week program and offer full-time (40 hours/week) or part-time (19 hours/week) paid opportunities . Selected interns start on the first week of June and work up until the first Friday in August .
- The program begins with a welcome orientation; a tour around Jovia’s Headquarters in Westbury; ongoing learning & development opportunities; role-specific training; and exposure to credit union operational departments.

Salary : $19 - $21
