Both children sometimes experience tantrums and need a calm and patient individual to help them manage their emotions.

We are seeking a reliable and responsible individual to serve as a full-time Household Manager and Childcare Assistant. This role will involve a mix of household tasks and providing support and engagement for our children, particularly our 8-year-old son. We need someone who can help create and maintain a structured schedule and assist with emotional regulation.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 5:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Morning (5:00 AM - School Drop-off):
- Assist with the morning routine (getting ready, breakfast)
- Ensure children are prepared for school
- Drop off children at school
- Throughout the Day (While Children are at School):
- Household management tasks, including cleaning and tidying
- Taking care of our dog and cat
- Helping with dinner preparation
- End of Day (School Pick-up - 6:00 PM):
- Picking up children from school
- Helping children settle in at home
- Assisting with homework
- Engaging our 8-year-old son in activities
- Providing support with emotional regulation as needed
- Managing occasional tantrums in a calm and effective manner
- Helping to maintain a structured daily schedule
- Experience working with children, particularly those with autism spectrum disorder, is highly preferred
- Patience, understanding, and a calm demeanor are essential
- Ability to create and maintain a structured environment
- Experience assisting with emotional regulation and managing challenging behaviors
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to handle household tasks efficiently
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
- Must be comfortable with pets (dog and cat)
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Background check will be required
- Up to $18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
