Have you worked as a babysitter, daycare worker, nanny, or church nursery volunteer? Have you raised children of your own? Are you seeking a position that allows you to customize your schedule? If so, we welcome you to our Back Up Care Team, working with a variety of families around your customizable schedule!
As a back-up nanny, you will:
- Care for children in-home, but you will not be required to transport children
- No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
- Support families who need care for children ranging from infants through school-aged children. Highest demand for care for children under the age of 2!
- Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on your observations of the children’s age-appropriate development
We provide:
- Wage: $22-25 per hour
- $10-15 Daily Mileage Stipend
- Receive paid training and a nanny kit filled with age-appropriate activities and games that you will bring to childcare assignments

About you:
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, paid or unpaid, infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Must be willing to travel around Seattle's Eastside (Kirkland, Redmond, Sammamish)
- You are available at least 3 weekdays Monday - Friday for 8-hour shifts between 7am and 7pm
