A bit about us : We’re a relaxed family of 4 and we appreciate a good sense of humor! We like to enjoy the nice weather and see as many beautiful places together as a family. In terms of our parenting style, we take a present approach. We do not shame our kids for showing emotions. Our almost 5-year-old daughter is a social butterfly in T-K with some big feelings. She loves talking, reciting scenes from Disney movies, and art projects! Both of our girls like watching Disney movies in Spanish. Our 3-year-old daughter is in preschool, and she is more on the quiet side. Her favorite superhero is Spiderman, and she likes dancing! She is currently potty training. A bit about you : You are confident, warm, energetic, and reliable! You are playful and kind but can be firm and set boundaries. You have solid communication, are a safe driver, and are flexible when it comes to your schedule (within reason). Job Duties : Driving and picking up girls from their schools , child-related care like assisting with potty training, making snacks, ensuring safety, setting boundaries, playing, arts and crafts , taking them to the park , cooking dinner, light tidying, laundry (family laundry if you are okay with that), taking kids to birthday parties if you are sometimes available on weekends, and bathtime and / or starting the bedtime routine. Position Highlights : W-2 payroll Accrued Sick Pay Long-term Outlook No Pet Care Car Seats Provided Weekend Hours Available Qualifications : You have about 2 years of childcare experience with ages 3-5, some previous nanny experience, a college degree, have driven children previously, have a clean driving record (driving screen will be required), a valid Driver’s License, a reliable vehicle you are comfortable driving children in, are willing to provide written communication for busy working parents, and basic cooking skills (like boiling water, using a microwave or a toaster oven). Set yourself apart : You are bilingual (Spanish / English), have been a daycare teacher, enjoy dancing, are musical, and / or love arts and crafts! Schedule : Monday-Friday (5-9p)
