What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Nanny in San Carlos, CA for a 3-year-old position at Jovie of CA, WA, and MN?
Summary:
A bit about us:
We are a considerate, kind family of 4! We only need care for our 3-year-old, but we have an 8-year-old as well. One of us will probably work from home on Fridays only. Our parenting style isn’t authoritarian; we try to give the kids autonomy over some decisions. We love spending time together as a family!
Our 3-year-old daughter is blossoming at her current play-based preschool which is part-time. She loves Halloween decorations and spooky things like car washes and werewolves. She loves Art! She also likes books, the playground, swings, the library, Disney princesses, and copying her big sister.
A bit about you:
You love kids and like to get down on their level. You’re playful, loving, trustworthy, and reliable! You understand and encourage curiosity, questions, and exploration. You are considerate and can follow house rules such as “no screen time”. You have good judgment, are a good listener, and can take constructive feedback. You’re able to handle the big emotions of a toddler.
Job Duties:
Following our toddler’s routine, taking her to ballet, reading to her, taking her outside every day, nurturing her interests, helping with lunch and snacks, and dropping her off at her preschool. Minimal cooking and light household tasks such as children’s laundry, picking up toys, and clean-up after lunch are needed.
Position Highlights:
Qualifications: 3 years of professional childcare experience with ages 3-5, a valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, reliable vehicle for school drop-offs and ballet class, and good communication when ill.
Set yourself apart: You are an outgoing, creative individual and a life-long learner!
Schedule: Wednesday and Friday (8a-1p)
Thursday: (8a-4p)
Pay: $30-$35 an hour
**All applicants must first interview with a Jovie specialist. Qualifying applicants will meet the family prior to being hired.
*Please note that during this time of COVID-19, Jovie expects all employees to follow CDC guidelines and ensure best hygiene practices when working and in their personal time. This family is following these recommended guidelines cautiously and conservatively and expect the caregiver to do the same to keep everyone as safe and healthy as possible.
