What are the responsibilities and job description for the Summer Nanny for 13 and 10 year olds position at Jovie of CA, WA, and MN?
Family Location: Rogers, MN
Summary:
A bit about us:
We are an active and outdoorsy family of 4 (plus one loveable chocolate Lab). We have a cabin that we visit every weekend in the summer months, so our nanny always gets Fridays off! We enjoy hunting, fishing, camping, tubing, and boating to name a few! We love to travel and are working on crossing off all of the states on our list. We value our time together and make it a point to have a family meal together every night. We are looking for an awesome summer nanny who can keep our sporty kids engaged, active, and most importantly off their electronics!
A bit about you:
You are fun, engaging and active. You can plan fun activities to do with the children daily, and one big adventure to go on weekly. We would love if you would be able to help create a ‘summer bucket list’ at the beginning of the summer for the kids to plan out what they want to do. You are great at keeping the peace between the two children and can easily navigate between discipline and fun. We would love a nanny who has previous nannying experience, but are open to all types of previous childcare. While you don’t need to love dogs (even though he is super lovable) you do need to be comfortable with the dog and letting him in and out to go to the bathroom.
Job Duties:
The nanny would come in the mornings ready to start the day by getting the children up, and dressed, and providing them with breakfast. In the second half of the morning, you would do a fun activity, like go to the nearby splash pad (though the teen may want to hang back), explore the woods, go on a bike ride, etc. Then it would be home for lunch and into the afternoon with much of the same! We would like the nanny to plan and prep meals for both Breakfast and Lunch that are wholesome and filling to provide fuel to the growing kids. Both kids love sports and being active, so the afternoon might hold an impromptu soccer game with the other neighborhood kids, or a game of tag at the park. Head home, for a snack, some daily chores, and downtime before the parents arrive home.
Position Highlights: Guaranteed hours, once a week big activity and lunch out, spend the summer having the best time ever!
Qualifications: Active, sporty, playful, engaging, 2 years of childcare experience with children the same age
Set yourself apart: Into Soccer, Baseball, or running!
Schedule: Starting June 9th, Monday-Thursday 8:30-4:30 pm, going until August 29th.
How to Apply: Apply Here; email emilie.hyatt@jovie.com or text "nanny" to 952-260-8906 to start the process!
