After-school Nanny
A family in Fuquay Varina, NC is seeking a dependable after school nanny for their infant. They have two older children but they will be in school for the majority of time you will be at the home. The family would like someone who takes initiative, is patient and very reliable. They are ideally looking for someone who can commit from Oct 2023 through Jan 2024. Hours would be Mon/Thurs 630a-3p, Tue/Wed 7a-3p, and Fri 7a-2p. Other sitting opportunities may be offered with this family and you would have the opportunity to work with our other client families as your schedule permits.
Description written by the family: We need a nanny for our 3 children in Fuquay . Primary responsibilities will be for the infant. Animal lovers please apply (we have pets)! Looking for someone who is reliable and on time. Must be able to make the drive to Fuquay. The 15 year old will already be gone to school before you arrive. You would need to let him in though in the afternoon (2:30-3:00). The 10 year old will be with you in the morning and will need to catch the bus at approximately 8:30. The 10 year old will get home after you leave. Your primary responsibility would be infant. I am a teacher and follow the Wake County Public School System traditional calendar. I would need childcare on all teacher workdays; however, I would not need childcare on WCPSS scheduled holidays/vacation days.

The day to day: We are looking for an engaging, child-focused individual who is willing to have fun, play, read, do arts and crafts and other activities, and provide an attentive and safe care environment for the child(ren) in your care.

- Perform light housework and meal preparation for the children in your care
What you'll need:
- Always "Ready to Go" mindset and be extremely reliable
- 1 year(s) of childcare, babysitter or nanny experience, preferable including infant and toddler
- Passion for working with children
- Enjoy going to different homes and working with children of all ages and stages
- 18 and valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or GED
- CPR trained or willing to get certified
- COVID-19 Vaccinated preferred
