What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-time Babysitter Needed position at Jovie of Denver, Centennial + Boulder?
This sweet Jovie family lives in Denver (80212) and are excited to find a wonderful full-time nanny to fill in until their little ones get into the Montessori down the street! This family has two great kiddos, a 3.5 year old and a 9 month old. They are looking for in-home childcare 5 days per week, ideally 7:30-4/4:30 pm but they are flexible on start and end times for the ideal person. The position goes from early January through the end of March, 2024.
A typical day looks like this: kiddos eat breakfast around 8am, get dressed, have morning activities such as playing outside, taking a walk to park, or arts and crafts inside. Three times per week the oldest attends a preschool in the morning and their youngest attends a gym class two mornings per week (parents can drive if needed). Then it's lunch time and getting these cuties ready for their naps (or quite time, for the oldest); their toddler takes one nap per for about 2-3 hours in the afternoon. The kiddos love age-appropriate arts and crafts, building blocks, pretend play, playing ball, etc. and family so appreciates helping keeping things tidy as you go. Our Best Candidates:
- 18 years old and a high school grad
- Are eligible to work in the US
- Have previous childcare/babysitting/nanny experience (1-3 years) with younger children (3 months - 6 years old)
- Have a reliable vehicle to get to and from the job (limited driving on most jobs)
- Can pass background check with driving history in accordance with local law
- Have a can-do attitude, a desire to support Colorado families, and love to play!
