Job Description: As a Special Needs Companion, you will have the rewarding opportunity to work one-on-one with children and young adults with diverse abilities from ages 4 years old up to 30 years old. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing companionship and emotional support to our clients.
- Assisting with daily activities such as homework help, meal preparation, and recreational outings.
- Engaging in meaningful interactions and promoting socialization and independence.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with individuals with special needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each client.
- MUST be available at least 3 days of the week
Monday-Friday 1:00pm-9pm
Weekends: 7am-7pm or 7am-12am (BIG PLUS!!)
Opportunity for more hours Mornings, Evenings and Weekday/Weekends if applicable.
