What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and engage children in fun, age-appropriate activities
- Prepare simple, nutritious meals and accommodate dietary needs
- Maintain a clean and organized space for play and daily routines
- Assist with basic caregiving tasks like diaper changes, dressing, and hygiene
- Help with homework and educational activities for school-aged children
- Communicate with parents about their child’s day, needs, and any concerns
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of children, including basic first aid if needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in childcare is required, including working with infants and young children
- newborn 0-5 months
- infant 6-12 months
- ages 1-2
- ages 3-15
- special needs experience is a plus!
- Previous experience in babysitting, daycare, nannying, or similar settings is preferred (1 year or more)
- CPR certified or CPR trained (we provide resources if you’re not certified!)
- Ability to prepare simple meals and snacks for children
- An individual who strives to leave it better- including but not limited to tidying up living spaces, cleaning up after meals, engaging the kids in age-appropriate tasks to assist keeping the space tidy
- A caring, responsible, and organized approach to childcare
- Bilingual is a plus! We work with families from all walks of life and may have requests for sitters who are familiar with a family’s native language
