Job Overview:
Are you looking for a babysitting role that fits your schedule? Jovie of Phoenix is seeking dependable and enthusiastic sitters to join our team! With our unique scheduling system, you can take control of your time by downloading our app and setting your availability 1-2 months in advance. From there, we’ll match you with families within a 30-mile radius who need care during the times you’re available. Babysitter positions may include After-School pick-up, date nights, church nursery shifts, weekend coverage, or periodic care dates, depending on your availability. This is the perfect opportunity for sitters who value flexibility, variety, and working with a range of wonderful families.

Responsibilities:
- Engage with children in various activities to ensure their well-being and development.
- Provide childcare services, including bottle feeding and supervising playtime.
- Implement first aid procedures when necessary and ensure a safe environment.
- Utilize experience in nannying and toddler care to meet individual needs.
- Foster a nurturing and educational atmosphere through activities related to teaching and caregiving.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods of time, and physically able to move and engage with children, can hear, see and communicate effectively
- Availability for at least 2 full days per week (Mon – Fri).
- 1 years of professional childcare experience with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or school-aged children (reflected in your resume).
- 3-4 professional childcare references. (Non-Family Related)
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, adaptable attitude.
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation of your own.
- Must be 18 years or older.
Compensation and Benefits:
Insurance Benefits: Dental, Vision, Life (Must meet Full-Time hours)
Pay: $16.75 - $17.25 per hour, paid bi-weekly via direct deposit.
