Job Description

Jovie of St. Paul is dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to families in our community. We are currently seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to join our team. If you have a passion for working with children and a flexible schedule, we want to hear from you!

Payrate : $16-18 / hour DOQ

Position Overview : As a caregiver with Jovie, you will be responsible for providing safe, nurturing, and engaging care to children in their homes. Your role will involve planning activities, assisting with homework, and ensuring a positive environment for the children under your care.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide attentive and nurturing care to children
Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and games
Assist with homework and educational tasks
Maintain a safe and clean environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians

Qualifications :

Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience

Must be 18 years or older

Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Minimum availability of 20 hours per week, including weekends and evenings

Services Provided by Our Caregivers :

Build meaningful relationships with client families based on trust

Ensure a safe and nurturing environment for the child(ren)

Engage children in play, story-time, arts and crafts, and other fun, age-appropriate activities

Prepare meals for the children as needed

Clean up after activities, games, and toys used during care

We match you with pre-screened families and offer ongoing training and support.
