Jovie of St. Paul is seeking a fun, high-energy, and proactive Summer Nanny for a great family in Mendota Heights! If you love spending time outdoors, being active, and engaging with kids in a friendly and supportive way, this could be the perfect summer job for you.
About the Role:
You’ll be caring for two awesome kids (ages 9 and 13), ensuring they have a summer full of adventure, activity, and fun! This role is perfect for someone who enjoys being more of a friend and mentor rather than a strict authority figure. The ideal nanny will be outgoing, engaging, and proactive in planning daily activities like:
✅ Swimming (family has a backyard pool – must be comfortable supervising)
✅ Exploring bike trails
✅ Getting the kids out of the house and having fun!
📅 Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm
🚀 Start Date: June 9, 2025- end of August
👧 Children: Two kids (ages 13 and 9)
💰 Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Encourage active play and outdoor adventures.
- Ensure the kids are up, ready for the day, and not glued to their screens.
- Support and supervise healthy meal prep and make meals for the kids as needed.
- Ensure the daily chore list is completed by 4 PM.
- Keep the house tidy from daily activities.
- Let the family dog out when needed.
- Enforce pool rules, including politely telling neighbor kids no to swimming during your supervision.

✔️ Comfortable supervising kids in the pool
✔️ Must pass a driving and drug screening
✔️ At least 18 years old with a minimum of 2 years of childcare experience
