Their older sister (16yo) might be around, but she is pretty self sufficient and has her own vehicle to get places. We would love a nanny who can engage with them and help make their summer one to remember, full of fun and adventures. As a sporty and athletic family, we're looking for someone who shares our love for the outdoors and is excited to participate in outdoor activities with our kids. We believe that finding a nanny who can connect with our family on this level will make for a fantastic summer for everyone involved.A bit about you: You are passionate about the outdoors and staying active, whether it's playing sports, exploring nature, or spending the day at the beach or pool. You believe that clear and effective communication is key to building strong relationships with both children and parents. Above all, you strive to create positive, fun, and memorable experiences, and you’re excited to do just that with our family's children this summer!Job Duties: The main responsibilities for this position involve taking the children on outdoor adventures to nearby parks, shops, bike rides, the pool, beach, and other fun activities. Most of the children’s time will be spent at the Mercer Island beach club, so an energetic, active, candidate who loves being at the beach and by the pool would be great. We will minimize off-island driving. You will need to drive the children to some activities, so a car is required, but gas mileage will be reimbursed. You will also be responsible for light lunch and snack preparation for the children.
