A wonderful family in Shawnee, KS is seeking an enthusiastic and engaging summer nanny for their two children, ages 5 and 10. These kids love crafts, imaginative play, and having fun! They're looking for a nanny who can take initiative to plan exciting summer days filled with activities and adventures.
Schedule:
4 weekdays per week (days are flexible and can be discussed with the family)
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
Creating a fun and stimulating summer experience for the children.
Planning and leading age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor play, games, and outings (e.g., park visits, library trips, etc.).
Supervising and ensuring the safety of the children at all times.
Preparing healthy snacks and meals.
Light housekeeping duties related to childcare (e.g., tidying up play areas, children's laundry).
Communicating effectively with the parents about the children's daily activities and any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children of similar ages.
- A positive, energetic, and engaging personality.
- You have a can-do attitude
- Ability to take initiative and plan fun and educational activities.
- 3-5 childcare references
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Background check and references required.
