Foodservice Sales Anaylst

Overview

​​​​The Sales Analyst will support the Foodservice Sales team by providing data-driven insights, coordinating sales operations, and enhancing overall efficiency. This role involves analyzing sales trends, preparing reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize sales strategies. Additionally, this position will assist in managing customer relationships, tracking sales performance, and ensuring smooth communication between departments.​​​ 

Responsibilities

• ​​Coordinate any special requests for all national and private label accounts, to include portal management, artwork changes, inventory requests, and contract review
• ​Analyze pricing models, margin structures, and discount strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability in the foodservice sector
• ​Maintain customer list and customer classifications monthly to ensure data lakehouse for PowerBI is updated accurately
• ​Assist in sales forecasting by utilizing historical data and market analysis to predict future sales patterns and demand
• ​Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial goals are met
• ​Aid in the creation of marketing materials and maintain marketing material supply.
• ​Use data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Power BI) to create dashboards and reports for management and sales teams
• ​Review broker commissions for accuracy
• ​Work with production and purchasing on the management of any new item
• ​Review new packaging and audit existing packaging for accuracy and compliance with all FDA regulations
• ​Other duties assigned by supervisor

• ​Must understand pricing and promotional strategies for Foodservice Sales   
• ​​​Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, which includes expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences  
• ​​​Involves extensive keyboard operation and regular use of office equipment  
• ​​Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects 
• ​​Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers 
• ​​​Position involves both sedentary and physically active work 
• ​​The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. 
• ​​Must have the ability to regularly climb stairs and access all areas of the office and plant  

Qualifications

• ​Associate degree in finance or equivalent work experience  
• 3 years in related sales experience preferred  
• Power BI experience preferred
• ​Computer proficiency required with strong background in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) 

Pay Range

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
