Overview
The Logistics Supervisor will oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the Traffic Department. This position will manage and optimize processes for efficient distribution and logistics flow, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Traffic/Logistics team
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems and processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping
- Source, evaluate and manage contract carrier base
- Continue to source new procedures to improve equipment
- Resolve issues regarding transportation, logistics systems, and/or customer related issues
- Ensure accurate and timely invoicing of traffic services, including tracking billing discrepancies and resolving issues to maintain client satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations (FMCSA, DOT, PennDOT)
- Manage and lead a team with traffic staff, dispatchers, and drivers
- Train, motivate and evaluate team members to achieve productivity and performance goals
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
- Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, which includes expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Knowledgeable in food manufacturing principles and operations regarding logistics
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office
Pay Range
USD $65,000.00 - USD $85,000.00 /Yr.Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
