Joy-Mark, Inc. is a manufacturing facility located in Cudahy, WI. We use automated vacuum forming and mixing processes to produce a wide variety of custom made foundry feeding aids and insulating metal handling products.
The Maintenance Tech will assist Senior Maintenance Techs to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. They will work in a professional and ethical manner while observing all health and safety guidelines. This position is 1st shift, hours are 7a-3p, M-F.
Pay range begins at $20/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in performing diversified duties, from installation, troubleshooting, and repairs, to maintenance of production and facility equipment.
- Help predict the productive maintenance needed on equipment to ensure all health and safety guidelines are met.
- Make sure production continues to deliver maximum output at the highest quality.
- Assist on emergency / unscheduled repairs during production.
- Help perform scheduled maintenance repairs on production and facility equipment.
- Diagnose problems, replace and repair parts, and test and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and equipment.
- Detect faulty operations and defective materials.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electrical meters, and materials handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Work overtime as needed.
Qualifications:
- Have working knowledge of mechanical and simple electrical
- Be able to lift up to 75lbs (can be with assistance)
- Be able to climb stairs
- Be able to work in extreme temperatures
- Have attention to detail
- Be able to work independently and with others
- Have the ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
- Practice ethical conduct and have a good attitude
- Be results driven and take initiative
- Have good verbal and written communication skills
- Have manual dexterity and problem solving skills
- Be in good physical condition
- Have regular and consistent attendance with a willingness to work overtime to complete work, as needed
- Have a high school diploma, or equivalent*
- Trade school training in the maintenance field is a plus.
