Type: Full Time Hourly, Temp to Hire
Joy-Mark, Inc. is a manufacturing facility located in Cudahy, WI. We use automated vacuum forming and mixing processes to produce a wide variety of custom made foundry feeding aids and insulating metal handling products.
We are looking to add someone to our PreBlend team on 1st shift! 1st shift hours are 7a-3p, M-F.
Pay range begins at $18/hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Help to Guarantee PreBlend and Production Operate Smoothly and Efficiently
- Regularly Lift 50-100lbs Bags of Chemicals
- Prepare Numerous Mixes for Both Joy-Mark and GTP Joy-Mark Operations
- Help Ensure the Production Process will Deliver Products of Maximum Quality While Staying Profitable
- Provide Emergency/Unscheduled Pre-Blend Mixes to Keep Production Running
- Check Pre-Blend Stock and Report any Low on Stock Materials
- Check Raw Materials Trailers and Make Sure They Are Locked Before Leaving the Shift
- Follow All Safety Policies and Procedures
- Check Schedule for Upcoming Mixes That will be Needed
- Identify Issues in Production Efficiency
- Assist With Training New Employees
- Follow Proper Quality Control Procedures and Report any Deviations From Procedures
- Assist Where Needed
- Other Duties as Assigned by Manager
- Maintain a Clean and Orderly Work Area
- Work Overtime as Needed
Qualifications:
- Practical mind and attention to detail
- Forklift Experience
- Ability to work with materials handling equipment
- Ability to lift up to 100lbs
- Ability to work independently and as a team
- Experience in using various types of equipment, machinery, and tools
- Must have ethical conduct and a good attitude
- Results driven and show initiative
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Regular and consistent attendance
- High school diploma or equivalent
