Description
Joyce University is currently looking for an experienced nursing educator to join our team as a full-time Assistant Dean of Nursing in the state of Idaho. This position requires the candidate to be licensed and located in Idaho. The Assistant Dean of Nursing is responsible to help ensure streamlined and efficient operation of the nursing program at clinical sites. The responsibilities include supporting and advancing clinical education through teaching and mentoring students, collaborating with clinical partners, helping to develop / maintain clinical site relationships, evaluating and supporting faculty, and serve as a faculty member for various course(s) as needed. The Assistant Dean of Nursing is knowledgeable of clinical program curriculum and requirements and helps organize multiple clinical programs while meeting programmatic and institutional outcomes. The Assistant Dean of Nursing is responsible for providing input in the areas of staffing, scheduling, supporting, evaluating faculty, appropriate direction of student inquiries, and for the individual and collective professional development for nursing programs. The Assistant Dean of Nursing guides and supports clinical faculty, staff, and students, to achieve and maintain standards of excellence in teaching while ensuring students derive the most optimal benefits from each learning experience. The Assistant Dean of Nursing uses excellent written and oral communication skills, advanced computer skills, advanced clinical skills, and the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
