Joye Law Firm is seeking to add a Receptionist/Legal Assistant to support our growing Charleston office. The right candidate will be ready and able to provide world-class client service in a professional and empathetic and ethical manner to our clients. The core duties of this position include:
Greeting visitors to the office and assisting them with their needs.
Stocking the beverage and snack areas.
Providing backup assistance to answer calls.
Processing medical records requests.
This is a full-time position that must have availability from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with a 1 hour lunch break.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word; Microsoft Outlook, Lawbase Case Management software, and Worldox.
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
