We are seeking a Kindermusik Educator who is passionate about making a positive impact on young minds and is steadfast in their commitment to consistently nurture and inspire both children and their families.

Schedule and Availability: We are seeking a dedicated Kindermusik educator to lead classes during weekday evenings from 4 PM to 6 PM and on Saturday mornings from 9 AM to 11 AM. The exact teaching schedule will depend on student enrollment and may not initially cover all available time slots. Once the schedule is set at the beginning of the academic year (September to May), it typically remains stable, with only minor adjustments between semesters, such as adding or combining classes based on enrollment levels.

Your Role:

• Inspire and Engage: Conduct Kindermusik classes that focus on holistic development—emotional, cognitive, and social—through creative and thoughtful musical activities.
• Partner with Families: Deepen the connection between children and their parents by helping families extend the musical learning and joy into their homes.
• Consistent and Prepared Teaching: Emphasize reliability and thorough preparation in every class to maintain continuity and stability for our families. This dedication is crucial for fostering an engaging learning environment and retaining our students.
• Collaborate and Grow: Be an integral part of a team that values dedication, reliability, and the transformative power of music education.

What We Need From You:

• Kindermusik Accreditation: Preferably fully accredited, but if you are currently pursuing accreditation or wish to start, we are here to support you through the process. For more information on obtaining Kindermusik accreditation, please visit Kindermusik’s Accreditation Courses.
• A background in early childhood development/education and music.
• Proven track record of reliability and thorough preparation for each class.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children and their families.
• Availability to work consistently during the specified weekday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Earnings Structure:

• Pay starts at $30 per class, with additional incentives to reward your dedication and success in student retention. Specific details about the incentives will be provided upon application, emphasizing our commitment to a rewarding and supportive work environment.

Training and Start Date:

• Training Period: Comprehensive training from May to August.
• Start Teaching: Begin leading classes in September, following the completion of training.

Annual Teaching Calendar Commitment: Candidates must be able to commit to the following schedule:

• Summer Camps: Held during the second week of June and the second week of July.
• School Year: Extends from the first week of September through the second week of May.
• Scheduled Breaks: Includes the week of Thanksgiving, a three-week holiday break (the last two weeks of December and the first week of January), and a Spring break in the second week of March.
